Requirements to be eligible for this procedure in Turkey:

Criteria for considering male-to-female surgery:

You must be over 25 years old.
You must have cohabitated with a person of the opposite gender for a minimum of 2 years.
Ideally, you should have received hormone therapy, and the intake of all hormone medications should be discontinued 15 days before the surgery.
You should not have undergone any prior psychological treatment, and your mental state must be healthy. If you have received psychological treatment, it is mandatory to provide a report from a psychiatrist stating: "There is no harm in undergoing surgery. Mental health is normal."
Your genital organs must be healthy and in place. If you have undergone previous surgery, the operation reports must be shared.
There should be no presence of transmissible diseases (HIV, HCV, HBsAg).
There should be no doubt in your mind; you must have a clear understanding of everything that will happen and demonstrate insight that there is no possibility of reversal.
