Mainly, hereditary factors cause baldness. This process often starts with the receding of the hairline and coves. In further stages, the crown area or bridge area (on top of the head) can also become bald or even entirely fall out. This hereditary baldness is also known as Androgenetic Alopecia. The hair on the head is prone to this. The skin hair on the head is not. This area is called the eternal wreath and is located on the back and side of the head.

A hair transplant is a method we frequently perform in Turkey, using the technique of moving hair from the perennial wreath to the balding areas. These displaced hairs do not fall out and therefore offer a permanent solution.
